In the last months, I've been busy with the Jewelry workshop that I gave and that finished in mid February. After that, apart from developing android apps, which are still in prototype phase, I've been making this poster which I presented in the AERC Conference in Nantes. Everything made in Blender, using the logo images as textures. All the graphics are realy 3D and the camera was placed at the average head position relatively to the poster, in order to have the right perspectives for the elements along the poster. With Blender as you are working with 3D and you have all the freedom, you can make several variables graphics, for example an x-y series can have its color and/or width vary along x according to two other variables (which was not the case in the plots of the poster). Depending on the content of your poster, with Blender you can even print it with stereoscopic effects and give some 3D glasses to your visitors in order to have a more realistic 3 dimensional experience. |
