The short movie I'm (slowly) making is not stopped. It just goes at its own pace, depending on the free time and on the motivation. I'm still modelling the characters but today I started also modelling the scenarios. Almost finished the modelling of the classroom, where the movie starts. Made from scratch in about 2 hours.
Here's a work in progress related to a short movie I'm slowly making in the free time. After a first attempt of modelling the male character directly on the reference images with the edge by edge technique, I was not getting satisfied with the result. The main reason was the head shape that was a kind of strange in the front view so I decided to start again but now I'll first sculpt the head and then I'll do the retopology on top of it. Here's the actual state of the sculpt model.
It's been almost a year since I left in stand-by the animation short movie I'm creating with Blender. I made the animatics then and now it's time to keep developing the final version. For now, I'll start by modeling the main male character from this concept art by a friend, Miguel Melo. I can't guarantee a fast pace on the development of the movie, but I'll try to work on it a little bit every week.
